Support Period Policy

This page sets out the defined security update support period for BrailleSense 7 series devices, manufactured and sold by SELVAS Healthcare, Inc. In accordance with the UK Product Security and Telecommunications Infrastructure (PSTI) Act 2022, SELVAS Healthcare, Inc. publishes the security support end date for each product model on this page.

  1. BrailleSense 7-20 (Model: H720B)
    • Operating System: Android 15
    • Security Support Start Date: January 2025
    • Security Support End Date: December 31, 2026
  2. BrailleSense 7-32 (Model: H732B)
    • Operating System: Android 15
    • Security Support Start Date: January 2025
    • Security Support End Date: December 31, 2026
  3. BrailleSense 7-40 (Model: H740B)
    • Operating System: Android 15
    • Security Support Start Date: January 2025
    • Security Support End Date: December 31, 2026
What Security Support Covers:
  • Security Updates: SELVAS Healthcare, Inc. will release security patches addressing critical and high-severity vulnerabilities in device firmware and operating system components throughout the support period.
  • Android Security Patches: Security patch-level updates applicable to the BrailleSense 7 platform will be provided for the duration of the support period.

How to Receive Security Updates:
  • Security updates are delivered via over-the-air (OTA) firmware update when the device is connected to a Wi-Fi network.
  • To check for updates manually, go to Utilites > Upgrade BrailleSense Firmware on your BrailleSense 7 device.

Support Period Policy:
  • No Reduction: The security support end date published on this page will not be shortened after first publication.
  • Extensions: If the security support period for any product is extended, this page will be updated promptly to reflect the new end date.
  • End of Support: After the security support end date, security updates for the affected model will no longer be issued. Users are encouraged to consider upgrading to a currently supported product.

This page is publicly accessible without any login requirement or fees. Access to security updates does not require registration or payment.
