HIMS is pleased to announce this upgrade for BrailleSense 6, V2.5 in English version. This upgrade offers a convenient YouTube Search add on, as well as an NFB Newsline add on for US users. It also adds the ability to create global hot keys for Android shortcuts available in third party applications, and the ability to record the web Radio.

Braille eMotion V1.2 Update

HIMS is pleased to announce this major upgrade for Braille eMotion, V1.2. This upgrade adds several electronic library services to the eMotion, including access to BookShare, as well as the CELA and Vision Australia libraries and an optional Sense Bible. We’ve also added  the ability to add individual regional/optional services in futurevia the Optional Services Installer, and expect you’ll see several more service options by the end of the summer. This build also adds thumb key navigation through the use of the “Cursor” keys as navigation keys, both internally, and in the Terminal for Screen Reader. In addition, for those learning Braille, emotion can now utilize several UEB Braille learning tables according to published lesson series levels. Please find the complete list of fixes and improvements in the attached release note.

BrailleSense 6 V2.0 Update

We're very excited about the BrailleSense 6 V2.0 English release.1. Upgrades the device to Android 12. *Note, you cannot down grade the device once you’ve done this without losing all of your data.2. Adds a To Do list program in the Organizer Menu. 3. Adds BrailleSense games in the Extras Menu. 4. Adds an App Installer to All Apps, similar to what exists in the SensePlayer, to help new users easily access some popular applications. 5. Adds an Optional Add-Ons menu at the bottom of the Main Menu for easy access to the Sense Bible download, as well as a Chat GPT application. 6.
